"Noodling" the film in post-production
“Noodling”, the USC thesis film written and directed by Rebecca Eskreis, is in post-production.
Filmed entirely in Pauls Valley, Okla., the shoot for the project began on Aug. 2, 2010, and ended seven days later.
According to Eskreis, “Noodling” is currently being edited and scored (music developed as part of the movie).
“We’ve…started post production with our editor Evan Langston,” Eskreis shared via email. “He’s making progress and we hope to have a cut relatively soon.”
The director added that someone has also already been secured to score the film as well.
“(We’re) working with…musician Jeremy Bullock and his band Pico Vs. the Island Trees on the film,” she wrote.
Bullock and Pico vs Island Trees (based out of Nashville) are a band self-described as having an “indie rock to jazz” sound. The band’s founders, Bullock and Bryan Carter, started the group in 1982.
